Throughout the year, Kopaonik offers ideal conditions for an active holiday. It is the biggest and the most famous ski center in Serbia with Pančićev vrh as its highest peak (2.017 m). It was rightfully given the name «The sunny mountain» because it has over 200 sunny days a year. It snows from late November until May.

How to Get There?
One can arrive to Kopaonik by Ibar main road from Kraljevo through Biljanovac and Josanicka Banja and from Kosovska Mitrovica through Rudnica, taking the highway from Pojat through Krusevac, Brus and Brzecor or by train through the Ibar valley and Biljanovac.
Places to Visit
The testimony of historical importance that mountainous region of Kopaonik had in medieval Serbia are the remains of fortified cities on the highs of the central massife of Zvecan, Koznik and Maglic, as well as mining settlements Stari trg and Novo Brdo, churches, monasteries Gradac, Pavlica, Studenica, Zica and Sopocani and the endowments by Serbian rulers at the foot of Kopaonik massif.
