Serbian naive - Kovacica
Kovacica was founded in 1802. The village represents a unique tradition of original art, craft and life style identical to that from 19th century.
Kovacica became famous world wide for its tradition in naïve art with internationally renowned painters such as Zuzana Halupova and Martin Jonas.
International ethno-center Babka was founded in Kovacica with the objective to preserve and promote unique artistic values. Kovacica is situated in southeast Banat, 49 km north from Belgrade.
