Kustendorf Film Festival
Film festival in Drvengrad from 14 to 21 of January.
The first international “Kustendorf Film Festival”, founded by director Emir Kusturica, will take place from 14 to 21 of January of the following year in the town of Drvengrad on the Mokra Gora mountain. “The festival is conceived as non-commercial manifestation dedicated to author film that gathers all renowned world directors as well as students who have just started filming their first projects,” Kusturica has said on today’s press conference.
Among announced festival guests, we will name: Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov, who will open the manifestation and present his new film “12”, Turkish director Fatih Akin, Izraeli director Eran Kolirin, this year’s Palme d’Or winner in Cannes Fim Festival, Christian Mundiu from Romania and others.
Festival will have its competition program for Drama students from Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Cuba, Spain, France and Serbia.
