41st International Fair of Tourism

The Fair of Tourism, held at the "Master" Hall of the Novi Sad Fair, will feature around 150 exhibitors from Serbia and abroad, which confirms the fact that this event is becoming a true leader in promotion of tourism in Serbia.
During the Fair of Tourism, the "Master" Hall of the Novi Sad Fair will mirror the offer of the region. The Tourist Organisation of Vojvodina will present the whole tourist offer of the province of Vojvodina together with the City of Novi Sad, the Tourist Information Centre and the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina. Collective exhibitions will be an opportunity for over 50 tourist organisations, municipalities and towns, granges, hotels and other touristic potential of the province.
The presentation of traditional exhibitor at the Fair of Tourism, the Association of Spas and Health Centres of Serbia, will be the cornerstone of the Serbian offer. This association gathers around 40 spas and the most renowned ski-resorts, such as Zlatibor, Goc, Jastrebac and Kopaonik. The Tourist Organisation of West Serbia will present the tourist potential of the municipalities of Užice, Bajina Bašta, Cajetina, Nova Varoš, Prijepolje, Priboj, Kosjeric, Požega, Arilje and Ivanjica. The primary aim of their presentation is to promote and present the tourist offer and potential of this region: rural, health, sporting, congress and other types of tourism and to present the concept aimed at creating programmes and plans of promotional activities in accordance with the tourism development strategy and the programmes and plans of the Tourist Organisation of Serbia.
Within the scope of the Fair of Tourism there will be two important segments: sacral travels and pilgrimages, as well as the Exhibition of Catering Equipment, Food and Beverages. A particularly interesting segment of the Fair of Tourism will be a promotion of the European Championship in Athletics for Juniors, held in Novi Sad between 24th and 26th July 2009.
