Kopaonik is the biggest ski center in Serbia and one of the most beautiful centers in this part of Europe. Apart from being one of the most attractive mountains in Serbia, Kopaonik has about 200 sunny days and is about 160 days per year covered with snow. During whole year It offers perfect conditions for an active rest and is said to be the biggest and the most renowned ski center in Serbia. It's highest peak is Pancic's peak (2017 m).

The Sunny Mountain is a name given rightfully to Kopaonik due to the fact that there are about 200 sunny days per year. It is covered with snow starting from the end of November until May. Highly mainatined ski tracks offer a good time to all group of skiers: from beginners to proficient ones and make your stay in Kopaonik unforgettable. The ski centre has over 40 km long tracks for alpine skiing and about 20 km long tracks for nordic skiing. For fans of night skiing, there is a well-lit track „Malo Jezero“. In case of bad weather, there is a possibility of covering a part of the tracks with artificial snow. All tracks are well connected with a ski lift system with over 27 500 skiers an hour capacity.


There are a new three high speed four seat ski lift system (with over 5 400 skiers an hour capacity), two fixed four seat ski lifts (with total of 4 200 skiers an hour capacity), five two seat ski lifts with total of 5 880 skiers an hour capacity, four pull „anchor“ ski lifts with 4 800 skiers an hour capacity and nine „plate“ ski lifts with 7 3000 skiers an hour capacity.

Beside alpine and nordic skiing tracks, the centre has a well maintained snow-board park in which many domestic and international competitions take place. Because of a highly jagged terrain, there are ideal conditions for paragliding.

Seven-day ski pass: 5.800 dinars for children and 9.000 dinars for adults.

There are three tracks built in accordance with the FIS standards for slalom, giant slalom super giant slalom and downhill race. It is possible to rent ski equipment and motor sleighs. The most interesting tracks for medium and more proficient skiers are Krcmar and Duboka I (the red and black of which the black is the harder one). Gvozdenac and Ledenica are the tracks for the most proficient skiers. The Suncana Dolina track, being a medium-hard one, is just as good and it leads to the Putnik Hotel. Beginners can ski on Jaram and Karaman Greben tracks situated in front of the Grand Hotel.
