National park Djerdap - one of the most beautiful national parks in Europe
National park Djerdap is situated in the north-east Serbia, on the very border with Romania with the area of 63.680 ha. A park with the oldest geological history nin Europe. A park with the largest number of historical monuments from the Roman period. The oldest settlement from the Neolithic period 8.000 years ago. The biggest natural and archeological museum in Europe.

National park Kopaonik - mountain in the sun
National park Kopaonik is situated in the center of serbia covering with its surface (11.810 ha) the highest parts of the mountain range bordered with the valleys of the rivers Ibar, Josanica, Toplica and Brzecka.The flora of Kopaonik has over 1.500 plant species. In the national park there are 91 endemic and 82 subendemic plant species. The wealth of this flora is represented in three local species: Kopaonik houseleek, Kopaonik violet. The highest parts of Kopaonik are inhabited by eelpout which inhabits only the highest mountains of Europe, golden eagle, mountain lark, red crossbill and other animal species.
Kopaonik is the most famous ski center in Serbia.
National Park Fruska Gora - a rising green island in Vojvodina
Visitors can enjoy gentle slopes, old oak and hornbeam woods on the area of 25.525 ha.
Fruska Gora is not high, however its jagged areas make it quite interesting. There are still places to discover even for visitors who visit it over the years. Among 1.400 species of the flora in Fruska Gora among which are over 20 species of Orchids. Fruska Gora is the home for 200 bird species such as imperial eagle, hawk, woodpecker and grey titmouse. There are rare mammals such as wild cat, badger, pine marten and many kinds of bats.
Fruska Gora - Serbian Atos - encloses 17 Orthodox monasteries from 15th and 16th centuries. The monasteries, majority reconstructed in 18th century, represent a unique cultural and historical entity, called by many people Serbian Holy Mountain. Particularly interesting is monastery Grgeteg where to a copy of the miraculous icon of the Holy Virgin with three hands, the patron of Fruska Gora and the monasteries, was brought in 2002. from Holy Mount Atos.
We recommend the visitors a visit to the vineyards and the wine-cellars of Fruska Gora besides the Orthodox monasteries.
National park Tara - beauty mountain
Tara is one of the richest and the most valuable forest regions in Europe both in diversity and preservation of the ecosystem. It is situated in the far west of Serbia on the surface of 19.200 ha. On Tara there are over 1.000 plant species including the Pancic's spruce. Deep canyons and preserved vegetation are an ideal lair for many animal species including Pancic's grasshopper. The slopes of Tara are home for around 100 bird species such as golden eagle, griffon vulture, peregrine falcon, grouse... There are 24 species of mammals registered, of which 17 are protected as rare species. Particularly attractive are brown bear, chamois, doe, wild cat and otter. In the canyon of Tara there are many traces of prehistoric, antic, Roman and Byzantian cultures.
Restored monastery of Raca, tombstone necropolis in Perucac and Rastiste are a valuable part of Serbian medieval heritage.
Tara is a popular tourist center in Serbia.
