Srebrno lake - serbian sea
It is called Serbian sea for its characteristics and beauty being one of the clearest and cleanest lakes in the country. Nice beaches suitable for many sports on water could seem, with a little bit of imagination, sea like. The lake is 14 km long and 300 m wide. National championship in water skiing takes place on this lake since 2001. Kitesurfers, windsurfers and canooists have been comming here regularly for years.Fortunately, motonautic is banned so the lake has been preserved from contamination. Camping on the lake is a long lasting tradition. The shades of the black locust wood and mild climate make the stay unforgettable. It is possible to go on excursions to the town of Golubac, Nimnik and Tumane monasteries as well to the neighbouring Romania by boat. Palic lake - the most beautiful lake in Vojvodina
The architecture styleon the lake Palic, Belle Epoque from the time when the lake was a popular elite spa for the rich Europeans, is stunning.
Within the complex there are arranged walkways, a zoo, good hotels and restaurants where visitors can taste traditional dishes from Vojvodina with a strong Hungarian influence. Visitors can also enjoy horse back riding, sailing, biking and coach rides through the old wood.
Ludasko lake - special natural reserve
Ludas, the second largest lake in Northern Backa, about 6 km long covers the surface of 387 ha. The lake is home of a great number of bird species among which outstand sorrel and yellow heron, bittern, kingfisher, blue-throat thrush... Rabbits, does, boars and otter are some of the game of the lake.
Around the lake there are object of particular cultural, historical and archeological value. You can visit traditional houses, salas places, local manifestations, drink wine on the sandy shoress and enjoy traditional specialties. The lake is surrounded by settlements such as Hajdukovo, Nosa, Ludas and Supljak. It is 12 km east from Subotica and 7 km from road E-75 towards Horgos.
Vlasinsko lake - nature park
Green meadows, pastures and woods rich in flora and fauna attract the visitors.
The characteristic of this region flora are rare species in danger of extinction such as drizzle and kinds of birch. Rare bird species can be seen here such as grey heron, crested duck and others. Among the mountains that surround th lake particularly outstand Cemernik and Varednik. Natural beauties, healing climate and mountain silence make this place ideal for stay all year round.
There are important cultural monuments of ethnographic values in this region such as monastery in Palja, churches in Bozica, Klisura and Crna Trava and the tower in Klisura.
Vlasinsko lake is situated in south-east Serbia, in the community of Surdulica, 30 km from the valley of South Morava to the west and towards south from Serbian-Bulgarian border. Its altitude ( 1213 m) and surface (16 km2) make it the biggest and the highest artificial lake in Serbia.
Lakes in Bela Crkva - seven beautiful lakes
Seven lakes with clean and clear water. These lakes were created by extraction of gravel from the bottom of the Panonian sea. They are situated in the south-east part of Vojvodina near Bela Crkva and with their surroundings are ideal for recreation and excursions.
The most popular is the township lake with beaches, waterpolo area, diving boards and a camping. It is a real challenge for fishermen because it's teeming with fish: perch, carp, cod... Come for fishing and swimming!
